3. Get promoted to supervisor at work at stay in this position for a year (I dont actually want to do this anymore - not yet anyway) 

I applied for a maternity cover position but didn't get it. I dont really want a full time post any more but I'm pretty sure if a maternity came up again I'd apply and get it :)

So In the usual style of my other blog I have a picture post to update my lost with :)

The next 2 count under two headings - I went somewhere I wouldn't normally go (clubbing all night with randoms) and got over a body hangup (for one night anyway) by wearing this outfit - which included a short skirt. I haven't worn a short skirt in years  (with good reson imo but still - I survived the ordeal and that counts!)



I saw quite a lot of london in the very early morning - it was beautifull :) I photographed it but my camera isn't so good :(


You can actually see both my hair and my tattoo in this pic but my hair is up and was done so long ago you cant tell ;DD


Also things while I remember:

Books - I went charity shopping and bought about 10 some I would normally get and some not - I'm working my way through them now. Trouble is I'm expanding what I would normally read so this task is becoming impossible :D

Familly/dinner: I invited dad and sue up for dinner the other day - they hadn't seen the flat yet and we went to the lock for lunch - it was goooood. then we walked along the canal which was nice :)

I went to my aunt's to see her, her girlfriend, my nan and my 2nd cousin who I've not seen since I was small :) We went to a yummy food place and drank too much but it was an awesome night :) I must see her more - she lives 10 minutes away!

Friends/new food skill: I had some friends over for dinner and learnt how to cook an indian. Something I've never done before but will def do again - twas lovely :)

An idea!

After seeing devons 101 things that make me smile post i think i may have to do something simmilar - but 80 things cos this is my 80 things blog after all.

i'll be back with a list!

oh and i'm doing some editing to the list/posts.

Also the thing i did this month i wouldnt normally is picnic in the park. I would do it but this time it was with loads of poeple i didnt know (i knew 1 person) - which usually freaks me out but it was lovely and im glad i was invited :)

Ill update you on my Music

 working on these:
3. Listen to new music every month - this month was glen hansard the soundtrack from 'once' i did download the album - but legitimately so it counts!
4. Re-learn, get better at guitar - i now have it here but i need something to tune it with
5. Learn another instrument (harmonica :DD)
8. Buy a new instrument even if its only a little thing - harmonica!! sooo cute, green wooden one with flowers on!
9. Go to/work at one festival a year - i'm working reading!

I will put in Blue the things ive finished and in italics the things im working on. And RED for the things I can no longer achieve because I mucked it up (red italics if still trying despite failure)

Work
1. Finish my VN
2. Re-evaluate my career if I don’t pass my VN (I passed - so no worries)
3. Get promoted to supervisor at work at stay in this position for a year (I dont actually want to do this anymore - not yet anyway)
4. Make an impact at work/change something big
5. Join the BVNA
6. CPD – go on at least 1 work related course a year (2/2)
7. Make actual plans about what kind of business I want to start
8. Investigate becoming a lecturer

9. Do my assessor training after I’ve been a RVN for a year - wont be able to do this before this runs out but I will do it :) 
10. Do overtime once a month only.

Play
1. Snowboard once a year (2/2)
2. Get over fear of heights by:

4. Go abseiling
5. Climb a mountain (for the heights thing this is allowed - even though its combined with snowboarding - it was fucking high!)
6. Go camping at least once a year (not at a festival) (2/2)
7. Buy a decent camera, learn how to use it and take pictures of everyone I know

10. Go to the cinema at least 3 times a year (6/6) - I now have a cineworld pass :D 

Expanding my horizons

1. Read 2 books a year out of my comfort zone (4/4)

2. Start reading a proper newspaper (at least once a week) (20/107)
3. Visit a new country once a year (2/2)
4. Buy 1 film recommended to me by a friend every month (13/27)
5. Learn a new language well enough to speak it
6. Go to the opera
7. Go to the theatre once a year (2/2)
8. Visit a new museum
9. Do a short course of some kind
10. Accept an invitation to one thing I wouldn't normally do every month (work permitting) ( - I've not updated this enough to know how many I've done - but I know I've been to a lot of weird things :D )

Life and family
1. Move out of work
2. Be in a position to buy a house
3. Save full amount in my isa at least once
4. Write letters to my friends and family
5. Visit every member of my family at least once
6. Go out for a meal once a month  
7. Cook for people at least twice a year (4/4)
8. Learn a new style of cooking
9. Teach someone something
10. Start acquiring things for the future


Health
1. For 2 months – never drive when I could walk (2/2)
2. Take part in as many charity walks as I can

3. Sort out reasonable gym membership/buy some kind of equipment for home
4. Go to the gym once a week (at least) for 3 months
5. Go swimming twice a week for a month
6. Join some kind of class/sport
7. 5 portions of fruit and veg a day for a month
8. Get within my healthy weight range
9. Quit caffeine

10. Go to a health spa – get a massage and stuff 


Travel
1. Start travelling the world (since starting this blog: Italy (a few times), Germany, America, Bulgaria, Botswana, Namibia, Austria (twice). Already been to France, Spain, Portugal, Egypt, Israel, Australia, Japan(briefly).
2. Travel Europe (this was backpack accross but I dont see it happening.) 
3. Attempt to see the northern lights
4. Get in the car with some friends and just drive somewhere
5. Actually see the sites in London
6. Take some pictures on the Cornish coast
7. Go to the lake district
8. Visit stone henge
9. Save money for the rest of the world:
10. Visit somewhere amazing - one of those once in a lifetime things.

Music
1. Go to 3 gigs a year (bands I know) (6/6)
2. Go to see 3 new bands a year (6/6)

80 things to do before Im 25


So basically I've made a list of 80 things I want to get done or start doing before i'm 25.

I will be 25 on the 25th of august 2010.



I had started bloging this in my normal blogs but it'll be easier to keep track in a seperate place :)
